"On 17 June, the ultimate Court of Bielsko-Biała recalculated ballot cards from 2 electoral committees", the National Prosecutor's Office forwarded. As he further explains, the review consisted of recalculating the ballots twice from these committees.
Irregularities in 2 committees
He further explains in his communication that for 1 committee the votes cast for individual candidates have been replaced, which led to the mistaken conclusion that more votes in the circuit had been received by Karol Nawrocki — in fact more votes were cast in this committee on Rafał Trzaskowski.
On the another hand, in the second committee, "160 votes cast for candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, out of the full number of 959 votes cast, were placed in a closed and sealed package with votes attributed to candidate Karol Nawrock". The electoral protocol erroneously indicated that the votes were cast as a PiS candidate.
The EPPO shall further inform that the collected material was transferred to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowicewhere the body in which the proceedings will be carried out is to be designated.
