Seven weeks before the Bundestag elections, the Christian Democrats (CDU/CSU) are the most popular organization in Germany, with 31 percent support. The right-wing populist AfD is in second place with 20 percent, according to the latest poll published on Sunday. The Social Democrats (SPD) have seen a slight drop in support, now at 16 percent.
