The German Ministry of Defence has selected 8 erstwhile military facilities that can shortly be reactivated. These activities are straight linked to the plans to introduce the alleged fresh Military Service (German: Neuer Wehrdienst) and the urgent request to grow the training base for German armed forces. This decision represents a further step in the process of adapting the Bundeswehr to current safety challenges and strengthening the east flank of NATO.
