For the 3rd time since June last year, the Ministry of interior Affairs and Administration is extending the validity of the buffer region in the Podlaskie state on the border with Belarus. As of today, the region is besides somewhat longer and wider. The services study that after almost 267 days of the zone's operation, the number of attempts to illegally cross the border has dropped by about 46 percent.
