European Parliament MP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik.
Ursula Von der Leyen proudly announced that the negotiations on the European Union's Mercosur agreement had been successfully concluded. It is simply a happiness for large corporations and countries from South America, and a tragedy for European consumers and farmers. This female is on her way to plow all EU agriculture, flood us with products of dubious quality and depend on non-EU food supplies.
In the picture, the top pest of the European Union and the enemy of common sense.

The most captivating in all this is another apparent opposition by Donald Tusk and his government, who, after all, supported von der Leyen for another word of office as head of the European Commission knowing perfectly well that he has been pushing the Mercosur deal for a long time.
Little of that – the German paper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Tusk has already had talks with von der Leyen and there are many indications that after the presidential election, he can agree to an agreement with Mercosur countries that will kill Polish agriculture. All for the good of Germany, which the agreement supports, due to the fact that it will benefit their automotive industry. Tusk plays against Poland and in favour of Germany? Shock and disbelief
First the Green Deal, hitting our agriculture and affecting immense increases in energy prices, then beginning the EU's borders to frequently disastrous quality agri-food products from Ukraine, and now the forthcoming beginning of the EU marketplace to goods from South American countries that will not gotta comply with restrictive standards that farmers in the EU must abide by. Either there's a ripple of common sense and effective opposition, or the last one's extinguishing the light.
