The base in Redzików will start operating later this year

The construction at the Aegis Ashore rocket defence base in Redzikowo has been completed and will start operating this year, Vice Admiral John Hill, manager of the rocket defence Agency (MDA) said on Monday. He reiterated that the strategy is not designed to defend against missiles from Russia.
