The bank may require the client to scan their ID card

Although in the era of modern forms of identity verification, demanding to send a scan of an ID card by email raises surprise and concerns among consumers, it is in accordance with the law. This was confirmed by the Inspector General of Financial Information in consequence to the letter from the RPO.
