President Andrzej Duda called for common forgiveness between Poles and Ukrainians. These are absolutely scandalous words, wrongly attributing any blame to Poles towards Ukrainians and relativizing the savagery of genocides that Ukrainians have committed in Poles over the centuries.
Thursday (29.06.2023) Andrzej Duda called in an interview with Interia for common forgiveness between Poles and Ukrainians.
– The most crucial thing is to build relations between our peoples for the future: relations based on historical truth, simple justice, but besides for common knowing and common forgiveness. It's very important. – he said.

Moreover, Duda stated that in Ukraine there is simply a “quiet” search for victims of Ukrainian genocide in Poles, which most likely no sensible Pole, observing the actions of the power of the Polish Republic and Ukrainians, simply does not believe. Besides, what are these exhumations that are supposedly carried out in secret without the engagement of the families murdered?
– Please note that the search activities are carried out all the time, are no longer blocked. It is realized in peace, in silence – and the full thing does not request political publicity around it, it should all be realized in peace and in consideration. This shows a qualitative change: today's Ukrainian authorities have more knowing for the full case than their predecessors a fewer years ago," he said in an interview. "This search is being carried out and this is crucial to us, due to the fact that it was not there a fewer years ago. 1 step at a time. We besides had further discussions present to push matters further: with the president of the Ukrainian Parliament, and with president Zelenski, and with Prime Minister Szmyhal. We have various activities here that are in the preparatory stage: we agreed with the Ukrainian side that we do not disclose the details in media so far.
Jacek Międlar, author of a two-volume book commented on the case “Neighbours. Last Witnesses of Ukrainian genocide in Poles”available in the online store https://sklep-wrawo.pl.
– Duda calls for “the common forgiveness between Poles and Ukrainians”. Is he crazy? What is Ukraine to forgive us? Poles did not carry out genocide on Ukrainians. In the second Polish Ukrainians had full civilian rights. By Law 16.09.1922, they were favored as a minority, and in the Sejm they were a margin, due to the fact that they boycotted elections by the chauvinist directives of the Ukrainian Military Organization and the Ukrainian Nationalist Organization. PAD fits into the communicative of historical forgerys produced by the Ukrainian side. This is something frightening and absolutely unacceptable, standing in opposition to the Polish reason for the state and historical truth! How can you lie like that? How can people be told specified frightening nonsense? For what? In the name of the fight “Samostic Ukraine”? This “Self-Stition Ukraine”, which was built “to beat the Lachów”?
Shame! – Jacek Międlar wrote in social media and posted a fragment of the first interviews with the Witness of genocide, Stanisław Jastrzębski.
In another entry he added: Before Ukrainian genocide occurred in Poles from 1939 to 1947, in 1768 Ukrainian hajdamaca under the leadership of Żeleźniak and Gonta (on Ukraine they murdered Poles as savagely as little than 2 centuries later...
Before the Ukrainian genocide in Poles in 1939-1947, in 1768 Ukrainian hajdamacs under the leadership of Żeleźniak and Gonta (a monument to him) murdered Poles equally savagely than little than 2 centuries later...
