The Americans have launched a Minuteman III ballistic missile. They did it on election night

Late Tuesday evening, as the U.S. presidential election was winding down, an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic rocket was launched from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base. Command said the test was routine.
