The abroad ministers of Germany and Russia met for the first time since the invasion

The abroad ministers of Germany and Russia, Johann Wadephul and Sergey Lavrov, met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in fresh York. These were the first talks between the 2 countries’ abroad ministers since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The gathering took place at Germany’s request.
