The parliament has already voted a CIT taxation increase for banks – from 2026 the rate will emergence to 30 percent. The government announces billions in gross for the budget to fund social programmes, but economists warn: it will be consumers who pay for this decision with higher instalments of credit, bank charges and slowing down the economy. The amendment will be done by the legislature in the coming days.
