“Quick deliveries – specified we like!” wrote Deputy Minister of Defence Paweł Bejda on social media, informing about the transportation of 7 FlyEye sets from the WB Group for territorial defence troops. This is the implementation of the framework agreement concluded in April between the Armed Forces Agency and the Polish manufacturer. It assumes a full of 1,600 FlyEye unmanneds.

The WB Group prides itself on the fact that the unmanned FlyEye air strategy is simply a completely Polish solution, designed from scratch by Polish designers and manufactured in Poland. This enables fast transportation to customers, as well as any modifications and adaptation of FlyEye to the requirements of users.

FlyEye is utilized by the Polish Army, Border Guard, another uniformed formations and users from abroad. Tested in combat conditions, the strategy can be used, among others, to observe battlefields, control artillery, signal retransmission, patrol borders or monitor critical infrastructure.

The BSP itself is simply a airframe with a wingspan of 3.6 m and a dimension of 1.8 m. The device weighs 12 kg and can fly at a ceiling of 3,500 m AMSL (absolute altitude above sea level) at a maximum velocity of 60–120 km/h. FlyEye is equipped with a silent electrical motor powered by lithium-polymer batteries and can be integrated with various mission modules. The basic module is simply a moving head under the hull with mounted tv and thermal cameras.

Let us remind that in November Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that on 1 January 2025 the Inspectorate of the Drone Army would be appointed. As of the fresh year, drone troops are besides to begin operating (the declaration fell during Navy celebrations, 28 November), which will have air, ground, water and submarines.
