The number of Territorial Defence Forces exceeded 40,000 soldiers, of which nearly 35 1000 are volunteers of the Territorial Military Service. The formation steadily increases its numbers despite the fact that comparatively many, due to the fact that about 10,000 soldiers left, mainly from the Territorial Military Service.
