Tame secrecy, or intelligence services at the threshold of revolution [OPINION]

In the internationally recognized diary “Foregin Affairs,” Amy Zegart asks alternatively provocatively whether by chance - given the ever-expanding improvement of OST-based resources, thus based on open sources, contrasting this with the current operation of the American intelligence community - we are not just witnessing a revolution in the work of the intelligence services. It is worth noting that in the American nomenclature the concept of intelligence utilized by Zegart is much broader in its sense than its Polish, frequently very stereotypical translation. Considering the function that reflection of the war in Ukraine plays in accelerating the processes of transformation of intelligence services, it is worth subjectively looking at the article entitled “Open Secrets — Ukraine and the Next Intellignece Revolution”, realizing that in Poland we will not escape from analogous questions.
