The full European Parliament rose after Ursula von der Leyen's words about "an unprecedented breach of the airspace of Poland and the EU". The MPs responded with applause to the EU's "full solidarity" with Poland.

EU: Full solidarity with Poland

Von der Leyen has calculated fresh cases of Russian attacks – the largest raid of drones and rockets on Ukraine since the beginning of the war in 1 attack last week or an attack on a village in the Donetsk Oblast, where people standing in queues after retirement suffered. Over 20 people died. She then expressed solidarity with Poland.

Increasing aid to Ukraine


– The message [Russia] is clear. And so must ours. "We must increase the force on Russia to come to the negotiating table. We request more sanctions, we are working on their nineteenth package, focused on moving distant from Russian fossil fuels," said von der Leyen.
