Taiwan back to buying barrel artillery from the U.S.?

Taiwan originally planned to get from the US 40 self-propelled Haubic M109A6 Paladin, to which it received approval from the State Department in 2021. Together with them, gain the name of 20 M992A2 artillery ammunition trucks, 8 M88A2 Hercules method safety cars, spare parts, training and logistics package. The full was valued at a maximum of USD 750 million (although the curious organization itself planned to spend USD 560 million) but the transaction did not occur.
