Two buildings were evacuated in Andrews, Maryland, U.S. military base and a sanitary cordon was created after a suspicious shipment of white powder was opened, reported the facility's command.
The number of victims has not been revealed. The area in which the envelope was opened — in the building of the National Air Force defender Centre — remains closed. Investigators besides analyse the propaganda materials found in the package.
According to CNN sources, respective people went to Malcolm Grove Medical Center after contacting the shipment. first HAZMAT tests did not show the presence of dangerous substances, but the investigation is inactive ongoing.
The Andrews base, frequently utilized by members of the American government, hosted president Donald Trump the day before.
