Taiwan's Landing Forces exploit about 460 M60A3TTS (Tank Thermal Sight) tanks which are gradually upgraded. The first phase of modernization consists of replacing AVDS-1790-2D engines generating 750 hp for AVDS-1790-2CAU engines that make 750 to 1050 hp, depending on the configuration chosen.
