The escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel, despite the announced ceasefire, can have far-reaching consequences not only for the mediate East but besides for Europe, including Poland. This war, although thousands of kilometres from Warsaw, casts a long shadow on the Polish economy, politics, safety and everyday life of Poles. The question arises as to what consequences of this clash we will feel over the Vistula River and whether we are ready for it – writes Dr Artur Niedźwiecki, lecturer at the Humanities and Economics Academy in Łódź.
