The Marshal of the Sejm and the candidate for president of the 3rd Way Simon Hołownia presented the study of the NIK on the financial support of the Church by the state institutions. He ordered it last year. The study shows that between 2021 and 1923 the state transferred PLN 17.5 billion to churches and spiritual unions. Critics see the electoral context in this.
