On Wednesday, August 6, Karol Nawrocki officially took office as president of Poland. In his speech he announced that he would implement Plan 21, a program where he made his promises and "who received 10.5 million votes of voters".
One of the first points of this plan was to be taxation changes. According to the declarations that can inactive be found on the candidate's authoritative website, president Nawrocki had... already on 6 August submitted concrete draft laws to the Sejm.

Karol Nawrocki's program, in the tab "Low, simple and pro-family taxes – taxation contract" listed;
The dam before taxation increases,
VAT simplification to 22%: "On the first day of office on 6 August 2025, I will submit a bill reducing the basic VAT rate from 23% to 22%",
The Lower and household taxation Package, besides on 6 August 2025, will submit draft laws to the Sejm containing the following solutions:
• PIT 0% for families with 2 or more children - income taxation exemption up to PLN 140 1000 per year for each parent raising at least 2 children (small, disabled or under 25 years of age).
• The benefits of household benefits for entrepreneurs – taxation breaks will besides include entrepreneurs accounting for linear taxation (19%) and a flat rate on recorded income.
• Increase of the second taxation threshold – increase of the second threshold to PLN 140 000.
• Removal of Belka taxation – abolition of capital gains taxation to PLN 140,000 per year.
• Fair valorisation of pensions Valorisation of pensions by a minimum of PLN 150 and always above inflation.
Constitutional protection against cadastral tax,
A constitutional inheritance warrant without tax,
"Budget armor" – protecting public finances.
Despite these circumstantial announcements, no information came to the Parliament about the submission of draft VAT simplification laws the day after the oath.
The fresh president at the Sejm assured that he would keep his promises
– For 5 years, all hour, all day, all week, all decision and legislative initiative I will fulfill my obligations to my constituents and to those who participated in the elections," said Karol Nawrocki after the oath.
He added: "Dear State, I am before you aware of the large task and large work that stands before me, but I stand here in the Polish Sejm aware of divisions in Polish political life, in Polish social life."
President Nawrocki further declared that his decisions would not be made according to divisions, but contrary to these divisions, always making a decision that refers to the Polish nation alternatively than political emotions.
