Swedish writer heard the verdict for insulting the president of Turkey

The Ankara court sentenced Swedish writer Joakim Medin to 11 months and 20 days in jail on Wednesday for insulting Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Medin will stay in prison for the time being due to the fact that he is besides charged with belonging to a terrorist organization.
