Switzerland is shocked by the tragic fire at the bar that occurred during a fresh Year's Eve night in the town of Crans-Montana. At least 47 people died and more than a 100 were injured.
Authorities have declared a state of emergency, and medical services are working on top alert. Doctors fight for the lives of respective twelve badly burned, whose condition remains critical. In front of the bar where the fire happened, flowers appear, people stand silent, you hear crying. The Alpine resort, usually vibrant, turned into a place of silence and mourning – residents and tourists from different countries pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
Eyewitnesses of the fire, reporting fresh Year's Eve drama, talk of a loud detonation and a large amount of smoke. Within seconds, the full ceiling of the building was set on fire.
