Artificial intelligence enters the police. The Ministry of abroad Affairs establishes a peculiar team

The Ministry of Interior and Administration increases efforts to modernise uniformed services. According to deputy chief of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Czesław Mroczek, Minister Marcin Kierwiński established a peculiar squad to implement artificial intelligence for processing police databases. In parallel, the ministry is looking for legal solutions allowing to usage PLN 7 billion from the SAFE program, which were blocked by the presidential veto. Ambitious plans besides apply to staff – the ministry assumes that by the end of 2026 the state of employment in the Police will increase to 104 1000 officers.
