Ukraine has infected Russia's key strategical aviation bases, and Israel has made a number of hits on targets in the depths of Iran. In both cases, the ability to carry out secret operations with the usage of its own intelligence services and the inability of Russian and Iranian counterintelligence to halt them has played a key role. The critical question so arises as to what lessons we should draw from the image of the destroyed aircraft and the eliminated commanders in the context of our defence preparations.
