The Polish Army has consistently developed capabilities to counter fresh threats, including threats from unmanned aircraft.

As part of these activities, combat training involving combating drones was launched utilizing individual soldier weapons.

Changes have been made to the Firearms Shooting Programs (PSBS), which include fresh training elements preparing soldiers to respond to drone threats. The updated programmes include preparatory exercises and shootings aimed at improving the effectiveness of activities in an environment in which unmanned aircraft are an crucial part of modern combat activities.

The training process has been developed in a comprehensive and systemic way. It includes both individual and squad training, carried out in different forms of combat training. peculiar emphasis has been placed on shaping the right habits, consequence skills and interaction of soldiers in emergency situations, taking into account the rapidly changing conditions of the modern battlefield.

Parallel issues related to combating drones and the usage of unmanned aircraft have been included in the training process of sub-commissioners. Under the basic course for candidates for sub-commissioners, sub-commissioned schools introduced a dedicated subject covering both the prevention of threats from drones and the applicable aspects of their application. This scope is closely linked to the current programme training and training scenarios.

The actions undertaken are part of the process of continuously adapting the strategy of training of the Armed Forces of Poland to contemporary safety challenges and experiences resulting from the reflection of armed conflicts. Their aim is to rise the military's combat readiness and strengthen the capabilities of the Polish Army to respond effectively to fresh and evolving threats.
