Scotland: rapists leave women's prisons

Over the years, the Scottish penitentiary strategy has been driven by an utmost left-wing ideology that is detached from reality. Biological men declaring female identity could, after individual assessment, go to women's prisons. Even erstwhile they were punished for violent sexual crimes. Now this experimentation is over.

After many unpleasant incidents, Scotland ends with sex absurdity. The ultimate Court there foundthat the guidelines in force until late are illegal. The most celebrated example was the case of the convicted rapist Isla Bryson, who, after changing sex identification, was initially imprisoned in a female prison. Although he was transferred to a male establishment after the scandal broke out, this case illustrated the weakness of the existing rules and sparked a nationwide debate.

However, the problem was not limited to a single case. Incarcerated women who described intimidation, a sense of danger and concerns about the presence of biological men were presented in court. After the judgement was given, even lawsuits were brought against the Scottish government for putting prisoners in danger.

Unfortunately, the court has not disputed the fact that sex deviants have the right to declare themselves whatever they want, protected by law and the European Convention on Human Rights. At the same time, however, he pointed out that these rights do not mean the automatic anticipation of being punished in a women's prison. The protection of women's safety and the work to operate separate establishments for women and men have precedence in this case.

The case shows how dangerous solutions that in practice ignore biological reality erstwhile making safety decisions can be. Prisons are not a place for social experiments. Those convicted of the most serious crimes, including rape, violence, and murder, are found there. The task of the state is, above all, to defend victims and those who are peculiarly susceptible to violence, not to make solutions to increase the hazard to women in prison.

The Scottish judgement sends a clear signal that even the countries that over the years have been pushing an utmost left-wing policy based on ‘sexual identity’ begin to revert to the old and simple solutions resulting from the bio-sex criterion. In practice, this means moving distant from ideology that allowed the placing of biological men, including those convicted of sexual crimes, in prisons intended for women. Although, of course, no 1 will say this officially due to political correctness. Politicians don't like to admit mistakes.
