Ukraine's support is simply a precedence for German abroad policy – declared Johann Wadephul, Head of German Diplomacy, in Kiev. He added that "Putin doesn't want peace, he wants conquest and submission, and he wants it at all costs."


German abroad Minister Johann Wadephul arrived on Monday morning, June 30, to Kiev. On the spot, he declared that Ukraine's support was the most crucial abroad policy nonsubjective of the current ruling coalition of CDU/CSU and SPD.

Germany Wall Behind Ukraine


– Freedom and the future of Ukraine are the most crucial task of our abroad and safety policy – said the politician. “Therefore, we will proceed to focus all our attention on supporting Ukraine.

Wadephul added that Ukrainians not only defend the freedom and sovereignty of their country, but besides the safety and freedom of Europe against Putin's aggression. “In Ukraine, it is decided whether our Europe will stay a place where freedom and human dignity are important, or a continent where force moves borders,” said the head of the MFA.

Putin's "British Bomb Terror"


As Wadephul added, Putin uses force to prevent Ukraine from deciding its own fate. – His war aims only to subjugate Ukraine. He attacks Ukrainians with violent bomb terror. all day and all night people die in their homes – in Kiev, Odessa, Dniepra – stated the head of German diplomacy, adding that the Ukrainians deserve the highest recognition.

At the same time, Wadephul stressed that support for Ukraine's freedom shows the integrity of Europeans. Russia is counting on us to weaken our support. Putin does not want peace, he wants conquest and submission, and he wants it at all costs – even at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives – he admitted politicians.

He stressed that Germany would proceed to "tightly stand" alongside Ukraine, providing it with humanitarian, economical aid, as well as modern air defence and another weapons.

Putin won't negotiate.

According to the German Minister for abroad Affairs Ukraine has repeatedly shown its willingness to end the war through "serious negotiations". – However, Putin does not retreat from any of his maximum demands; he does not want negotiations, he wants surrenders. As long as it is, we will proceed to limit Putin's ability to fund his criminal war through sanctions. We in the EU and our partners in the G7 are inactive working on this with the top pressure, said Wadeful, speaking about another package of sanctions against Russia.

However, his acceptance failed last Friday due to Slovakia's opposition. The vote was postponed to an indefinite deadline.

The head of the MFA came to Kiev on a peculiar train. Wadephul visited Ukraine for the first time as the fresh abroad Minister on 9 May. In addition to talks with Ukrainian representatives, including his counterpart Andrij Sybiha, the minister is besides to commemorate the victims of mass murders on the judaic population under German business in Babi Jar.
