Piotr Konieczka was a farmer, he came from Pomerania. In the 1920s, he and his household moved to Wielkopolska, where he bought a farm. In the spring of 1939 he was mobilized, serving in a platoon strengthening the Border defender Station in Kaczory, at the border station in Lakes close Piła. On September 1, 1939, at about 1.30 a.m., a German diversion group attacked the facility.
