The Polish point of view on building the strength of transatlantic relations, strengthening NATO and the request to increase European defence spending – these are the topics presented by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in his speech in Ramstein during a gathering of the heads of defence and the most crucial commanders of the United States Army and the Allied Army in Europe.
Minister for National Defence He took part in a gathering with NATO heads of defence at the Ramstein military base at the invitation of North Atlantic Alliance commanders in Europe General Alexus Grynkeevich. The talks concerned, among others, safety in the region and support for Ukraine. Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamish had the chance to give the main speech there. "I welcome the very good acceptance of the words on modernisation, transformation and arms spending. I stressed that we cannot wait until 2035 – spending at 5% of GDP is needed here and now, as shortly as possible. Risks do not decrease, but increase, and Europe's work must be greater. An alliance without the United States does not exist. There is no NATO without the United States, but there is no global force of the United States without their participation in NATO – the head of the MON pointed out that the very fact that he was invited to address as the only national defence minister of the Alliance states, alongside the Secretary-General of NATO, shows how crucial Poland's function is present and how Polish voice on the issue of common safety is perceived.
The Minister of National Defence besides met with NATO Secretary-General Marek Rutte, with whom he discussed, among others, the support for Ukraine and Poland's defence capabilities, as well as the acquisition of €44 billion from SAFE and acquisition plans. As he pointed out, the conversation besides afraid the ability of allied troops to operate in various parts of the planet and how crucial Poland's presence is in this context. “I am glad that the voice of Poland is heard and listened to in NATO,” he said.
SAN strategy and crucial contribution of Polish companies

He pointed out that it was a strategy for all types of armed forces with peculiar emphasis on the land troops and the Inspectorate of the Unmanned Armed Systems. – But each soldier is implemented present in drone techniques, both serving in land troops and in the air force, in the navy or in peculiar forces – he calculated and pointed out that Polish companies will have the dominant function in the construction of the anhydron wall. “These will be both state-owned companies as well as the Polish Armed Forces Group and its affiliated companies, as well as the private company APS, as well as our Norwegian partners,” said the head of MON.
