"Wojska Lądowe is the largest formation in types of armed forces, the most many in terms of personnel resources, numbers, equipment, areas of impact; this is the basis of the functioning of the Polish armed forces," Kosiniak-Kamish said. The festival of the Land Army was established on 12 September for the commemoration of the Vienna aid of Jan III Sobieski. This year's celebration was held in Warsaw's Wilanów, in front of the palace, which was the king's summertime residence. Representatives of allied and friendly states, including South Korea, attended the ceremony.
