Bartosz Grodecki, head of the National safety Bureau, cooled the hopes of a fast end to the fighting. In his opinion, talks between Washington and Moscow have not brought a breakthrough, and the Kremlin inactive puts conditions unacceptable to Kiev and his allies.
Talks Without a Breakdown
The head of the BBN spoke about this in the Polish point of view programme on tv Trwam. Grodecki estimated that fresh American-Russian contacts did not bring groundbreaking results and the interviewers divided without conclusions. He thus referred to the gathering of the Heads of Diplomacy of the United States and Russia, Marco Rubio and Sergey Lavrow, which in his opinion did not bring the parties closer to the agreement.
Conditions not acceptable
According to the head of the BBN, Russian proposals proceed to establish far-reaching concessions from Kiev and to suspend European assistance to the fighting country. specified conditions are unacceptable for the Ukrainian side and its allies. This is them, not the deficiency of the will to hold talks, to be the main obstacle to the ceasefire.
