An army that could take over doesn't exist. There is no state, actually. The most probable situation is the fighting between various armed groups, specified as Libya and Iraq after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, turning into a state of frozen civilian war. However, it is hard to imagine a script worse than Bashar al-Assad's legacy. In the civilian war, 600,000 people died and 7 out of 24 million people fled abroad.
