However to look, Swirski has been standing in front of the TS for a year – so much time I hear and read that Swirski is already standing, is to stand, is about to stand. But if this happened, according to Świrski, it would mean paralysis of KRRiT's actions. Finally, it may turn out in practice that this body is completely unnecessary, completely politicized, repeatedly providing warm positions to organization paratroopers. There is no request for any amendment of the Act, here it is essential to liquidate the KRRiT, the old Broadcasting and tv Act to throw it in the trash, and a fresh 1 to compose from the beginning. It is impossible to fix what is irreparable, especially due to the fact that people liable for the order of public media in Poland are unreformable. This concerns both politicians of the current ruling coalition and opposition politicians.
How many years have I heard this, I talk about it and I compose that there are no truly public media in Poland. 2 years ago, in my book Heitem in Eyes, I wrote about written television: “Propagante style, political dependence, agitation alternatively of real journalism are features News TVP’. Today, I could compose the same thing about tv Republic, and I think I would make a small mistake if I did "copy" and changed the name of the TVP news program. Of course, it is not the degree of hatred, hate, aggression and discrimination that we have seen on that television, but there is inactive the belief that TVP must stay in the hands of the government. Speaking of which,, it is TVP that is to any degree co-responsible for the electoral defeat of Rafał Trzaskowski as co-organizer of the groundbreaking debate in Koński, after which the roles reversed. Is it not clear to TVP's next political overseers that there is no real slogan "who has tv wins elections"? The last 2 campaigns show that this rule does not work. So possibly it's time to give the public media back. And it's divided whether we like it or not.
The next election is 2 years, there's inactive time, but you gotta hurry to leave something behind. This government, this coalition has a chance to leave public tv behind. 1 that will not be broken by another government, due to the fact that its functioning will include mechanisms to prevent politicisation. But for that to happen, you request people with open minds who could quit political control over public media. Are they? I uncertainty erstwhile I see dancing around the KRRiT, around the National Media Council and the indolence accompanying the judgement of the written satraps. A fewer weeks ago, a megapropagandist PiS Jacek Kurski said he would return to TVP. To many it sounded like a grim joke, to others, besides to many, like a dangerous memento. Kurski should not be underestimated, but – I will compose it again – you gotta make mechanisms to make it impossible to return to public tv political polytruds.
The fresh Public Media Act has been being prepared for many years; it was to be presented in the spring of last year, then in autumn, then in the spring of that year and what? erstwhile I was a small boy, the answer was Nico! Today, these large boys from the Ministry of Culture are telling us nothing due to the fact that they have been consulting the bill for a year and the end is not seen, and the bill was to be ready by the end of 2024. You truly haven't understood anything yet? So wait until Jacek Kurski explains what public media is again. If you don't know...
