On Christmas morning Prime Minister Donald Tusk published a Christmas message in which, alternatively of a small wish, he put on a strong, sometimes bitter description of modern reality. Although he spoke of traitors, aggressors, and increasing evil, his speech was besides hopeful. The head of government stressed that the answer to the question of how to deal with this is one, and "Poles in millions of hearts carry a immense force".

As Donald Tusk said, everyday life is increasingly overwhelmed. “It fills us with information that makes us sad and scared,” said the Prime Minister, asking a question which, in his opinion, many Poles have asked themselves in fresh months. – "The planet has gone crazy" – how many times have we each said this in the past year?" he asked directly.

Donald Tusk's Christmas wishes: "War criminals feel unpunished, traitors pretend to be patriots"

Tusk did not avoid harsh words. In his speech he spoke of an era in which "the lie, the hatred seem to mark a fresh era." He calculated circumstantial phenomena that he thought best reflect the scale of the problem: "War criminals feel unpunished, traitors pretend to be patriots, aggressors want more power. Victims are ridiculed. They are the ones in the light of the cameras who request money and humiliating tribute."

"How do we deal with this increasing evil?" the Prime Minister asked and stressed that the answer is 1 and that the holidays are to remind of it. - There's only 1 reliable way. There is simply a power that stops evil. This power is in our hearts and is called love and good," he said.

Further on, Donald Tusk stressed the importance of community and the sense that no 1 remains alone in the face of crises and fears. As he emphasized, during Christmas "we see for ourselves that we are not alone with it". He pointed out the scale of this community, saying, "There are many of us. Poles in millions of hearts bear tremendous strength."

The Prime Minister assured that as long as society remains together and believes in basic values, they have a chance to win. "As long as we are together, while we believe it: decency, truth, honesty, mercy will be the top," he said, adding unequivocally, "We decide what the planet is like."

At the end of the Christmas message Donald Tusk addressed the audience straight with wishes. He expressed hope that "this Christmas will bring us light, love and courage." Let's share it with our loved ones, and no evil will be terrible. Quiet, household and safe holidays, dears – he ended his wishes.
