Marta Nawrocka was wearing an elegant, burrd dress, while president Karol Nawrocki appeared in a suit, in which he selected a burdock tie.
Christmas wishes of the presidential couple. They said "common heritage"
The president began his speech by highlighting the uniqueness of Christmas Eve. As he said, it is "the most beautiful evening of the year", the time to share bread, a good word and presence erstwhile "we are truly together – and we experience it the most."
In turn, the first woman pointed to the emotional dimension of Christmas. She emphasized that the hearts of Poles during this time "filled with joy and kindness", which – as she pointed out – is worth directing not only to the loved ones, but besides to those who will not spend Christmas "in the warmth of the home fire".
In his speech, Karol Nawrocki besides recalled the function of Christmas traditions in building national identity. He pointed out that Poles have for generations maintained the rich heritage of Christmas services, rites, nativity scenes, carols and pastors, as well as regional customs which he described as "our common heritage". –Let us defender this treasure – and let us pass it on to another generations – he appealed.

Martha Nawrocka addressed peculiar words to those who at Christmas time cannot afford to rest. As she said, the presidential couple "with peculiar memory surrounds those who service on these Christmas days" and care for the safety of others. “Thank you very much for this effort,” she stressed.
The speech ended with a clear spiritual accent. Nawrocki, quoting the words of carols, said: " God is born, power is dead! A large promise is coming true. May the Christmas of the Lord awaken hope in your hearts. May God bless our beloved country!"
