Sweden inactive without Turkey's approval to enter NATO

At the NATO summit in July, president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan agreed to request Sweden to join NATO. At present, the substance depends on the Turkish Parliament, which refrains from taking a decision until Sweden fulfils the conditions set by Ankara.
