The Sejm elected six fresh judges of the Constitutional Court in mid-March. The candidates reported by the Law and Justice have lost their vote. On the another hand, they were selected, reported for the Coalition on October 15.
The next step was to make a vow to the president of Poland. At the turn of March and April, the president invited only 2 fresh members of the Court: Dr Magdalena Bentkowska and Dr Dariusz Szostek.

Now the remaining 4 (Markiewicz, Dziurda, Taborowski and Korwin-Piotrowska) decided to take a vow in the Sejm and... invited Nawrocki to it. According to RMF FM, the President's Chancellery was to be influenced by 4 identical-sounding writings.
The vow was scheduled on 9 April at 12.30 p.m. at the Sejm Column Hall. It is to be attended by, among others, marshals: the Sejm Vladimir Czarzasta and the legislature of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.
The case sparked controversy especially among members of the Law and Justice. They have already announced that the D.A.'s office should be informed of the anticipation of exceeding the powers.
