Pantofl election
Someone erstwhile had the thought of an envelope election. I think everyone knows how it ended and who suffered (or actually did not) the consequences. However, sovereign Poland decided to send different letters to parish priests all over the country like good friends on vacation.
We, the undersigned Members at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, ask you to make a peculiar prayer to our beloved Homeland – Poland. In a month, her destiny will be decided and who will exercise authority in her and make key decisions for the coming years. We know very well that any of the political options in our country want to erase God and the Church from the life of our Homeland – we can read in the text of correspondence.
The broadcasters then mention the words of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński: “or Poland will be Catholic, or it will not be Catholic at all”. They besides emphasize that without prayer they cannot defend the most crucial Christian values. The stamped letter was signed by Maria Kurowska on behalf of Members and candidates from the Sovereign Poland. We can besides find names and surnames of specified politicians as: Zbigniew Ziobro, Michał Wójcik, Sebastian Kaleta, Janusz Kowalski, Jacek Ozdoba, Marcin Warchoł, Michał Woś, Jan Kanthak, Beata Kempa and Patryk Jaka.

It is interesting that seemingly the text of the letter encourages only prayer, but in fact it insists on the pastors to vote for “the only right option”.
Letters leaked to the network
Among the people who received the letter, there was besides a writer and priest Kazimierz Sowa, who utilized to be the manager of the Religious.tv station. He did not hesitate to comment on the situation.
Mrs Kurowska sometimes comes to “my” Mass at St. Alexander's Church in the Square of 3 Crosses. I wonder if it abruptly turns out that a parish priest or even an average priest has a different opinion on the instrumentalization of religion and religion for political purposes and publically expresses it. She'd most likely be outraged... And by the way, there is no specified thing as “Polish Catholic”. It's gone and it won't be. Fortunately.
Patryk Wachowec, a legal analyst from the Civic improvement Forum, besides made the scan available. another commentators in turn laughter at the message of the politicians of the Sovereign Poland, that “God has something to say”. They ask whether Ziobro has already grown to the rank of deity, or whether God is the party's press spokesman.

Kurowska's comment
MP Maria Kurowska decided to comment on the letter for “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
We sent them to different dioceses. Where my friends had addresses, they sent them. We ask the parish priests to organize a prayer for their homeland, due to the fact that there are so many dangers that we request a large prayer. As Solidarna Polska we think it would be very bad to put Poland in the hands of our counter-candidates. Poland would not be sovereign, and all our lives we fought to be hosts in our own country.
Kurowska then added that everyone has the right to address the Catholic Church if he is simply a associate of it. She admitted that she recognized the secularity of the state, but according to her, “God besides has his own say in our homeland.”
Let's halt at that speech, due to the fact that I think 2 things clearly sound like a gag here. I agree with the message that anyone who belongs to a community has the right to address it. The problem is that it is very easy to talk out about being a associate of the Church, but at the same time not to represent it with your behavior. You can lie, you can steal, you can take actions that can be called hate, but the cross on the wall is all about to absolve.
The second thing is the memory of the Kurowska MP about God, or the standard wiping of her face with religion. Your politician stated that God has something to say, but I would ask, on what basis do we know what precisely he wants to say and where does his speech take place? For over a fewer 1000 years, many have experienced those who thought that any deity was speaking through them. In fact, it was a charlatanry utilizing religion for strictly government-related purposes, whether state or tribal.
Only that the shamans or Egyptian priests did it with their head, at the same time having extended knowledge. I do not know if we can say the same about Sovereign Poland.
