Father Michał Olszewski was the mark of the current power (which the representatives promised to “fool Catholics”). A priest, full of energy and commitment far beyond the regular responsibilities of all clergyman, now pays a advanced price for his activity.
Since the end of March of this year, priest Michał Olszewski has been in temporary custody in connection with allegations of obtaining backing from the Justice Fund for the activities of the Profeto Foundation, which he is president. We already know that the court's decision will stay there for at least another 3 months.
Unfortunately, in fresh days, through the media we have been able to learn details about how the priest was treated after being detained. The description of how ABW officers and investigators behaved towards the priest indicates that the power reached after the method of force bringing to head the freezing blood in the veins of the persecution of priests during the times of communismTo force a favorable testimony.
According to the published letter of Fr Olszewski:
- exposed to public ridicule
- They lied about the circumstances of his arrest.
- They tried to slander him in the media.
- no food or even access to drinking water
- has been shown to meet physiological needs under derogatory conditions,
- sleep deprivation.
That's the kind of treatment we can't look at erstwhile arrested! Especially since there is simply a legitimate concern that these behaviours are motivated by the political and ideological desire for revenge and humiliation of man due to the fact that he is simply a priest.
Therefore, following the orders of concern for prisoners and comfort for the troubled, we want to show our support for Fr Michał Olszewski, creating a book in which each Pole afraid with his destiny will be able to express his words of encouragement, assurance of prayer and memory.
When Fr Michael is released, we will pass on this book to him with the hope that our words of comfort and good wishes will bring him relief after hard experiences and strengthen his ministry further.
