Although the German press mostly welcomes NATO's consequence to the Russian drone attack on Poland and many commentators praise The Alliance, it is in the media that are besides critical opinions. The commentator “Suedddeutsche Zeitung” believes that the Alliance failed both militarily and politically. Militaryly, due to the fact that only a fistful of drones were knocked down, and politically, due to the fact that the consequence of the leader of the strongest NATO state leaves much to be desired.
