The mass introduction of MSBS Grot carbines into the Polish Armed Forces did not automatically solve the problem of arming combat vehicle crews, artillerymen or logistics personnel. In the Polish Army, obsolete submachine guns from the Glauberyt household and problematic Mini-Beryl sub-carbines are inactive widely used, which in the tight compartments of the K2, M1A2 Abrams, AHS Krab/K9 or Borsuk IFV tanks show a number of ballistic and ergonomic defects. The choice of a successor presents decision-makers in uniform with a hard dilemma: should they bet on a classical sub-carbine with a very short barrel, implement the stockless variant of the MSBS Grot Bullpup, or should they succumb to the temptation to introduce a niche PDW weapon?
