The acquisition of Strykers would take place by a donation from the United States, as part of the Excess defence Articles program. The Americans are passing on equipment that is no longer needed by their own forces. The transfer is carried out free of charge and the user state covers the costs associated with the adaptation of the equipment to service. Poland has already repeatedly used: whether in the field of MRAP vehicles for the Land Army, Hercules aircraft for the Air Force or frigate Oliver Hazard Perry for the Navy. But here we can deal with a larger scale of donations. And there may be additional hidden costs that will happen shortly after transportation at a very advanced level.
