The acquisition of Strykers would take place through donations from the United States, as part of the Excess defence Articles program. As part of it, the Americans donate equipment that is no longer needed by their own forces. The transfer itself is free of charge, and the user state covers the costs associated with adapting the equipment to operation. Poland has already utilized it many times: whether in the field of MRAP vehicles for the Land Forces, Hercules aircraft for the Air Force or Oliver Hazard Perry frigates for the Navy. Here, however, we may be dealing with a larger scale of donations. And this can be followed by additional, hidden costs that will happen shortly after transportation at a very advanced level.
