"Strict checks" at the borders

On the confederate border of the country, due to the threat of foot-and-mouth disease, rigorous veterinary checks have been introduced, the Minister of Agriculture Czesław Siekierski said in the Sejm on Wednesday. Veterinary services are on work at 10 border crossings, and gates and disinfection mats have been set up.
