Border defender removed repeaters from Ukraine

Officers from the Border defender Service in Warsaw carried out checks on 28 July, which ended in forced expulsion of 2 Ukrainian citizens from Poland.

Both men broke legal residence laws and committed serious crimes within the country. The first 1 was handed over to the Border defender by the Police after being detained for driving a vehicle in a state of intoxicated condition and being in Poland without the required documents. The second was captured immediately after leaving the prison, where he was punishing for many crimes, including driving vehicles despite a judicial ban, driving under the influence of alcohol, attempted burglary and theft.

Due to the repeated nature of the acts, serious violations of the law and the deficiency of respect for the legal order, both foreigners were obliged to leave Poland immediately, without the anticipation to usage the deadline of voluntary departure. At the same time, they were banned from entering Poland and another Schengen countries. In the case of 1 of the men, the ban will apply for 7 years, in the case of the other, for 9 years.

On the same day, both Ukrainian citizens were transported by border guards to the state border and transferred to the Ukrainian side. Since the beginning of 2025, the agglomeration Border defender Station in Warsaw has already issued over a 100 decisions on obliging foreigners to leave the country immediately without setting a deadline for voluntary departure, which shows the determination of the services to counter illegal migration and violation of the law by foreigners.
