
Today, the concept of the State of Palestine focuses primarily on the political structure. It has no internationally recognised sovereignty in any area. According to the Palestinian Constitution, Palestine comprises 2 districts occupied by Israel in 1967: Gaza and the West Bank.
Jerusalem was to be under global control, but as a consequence of the Israeli-Arab War it was divided. In 1967, Israeli troops occupied all Jerusalem. The position of the city internationally remains inconclusive.
The Sinai Peninsula was dedicated to Egypt under the arrangement with Camp David (1979).

The US will take control of the Gaza Strip — said U.S. president Donald Trump during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Binjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. He announced that America would teardrop this land down and make an “unlimited number of jobs”. He announced that the Gaza Strip would "long term" belong to the United States and did not exclude sending soldiers there. Netanjahu supported this thought and confirmed that there were talks about it.
“ The Palestinians would “very much like to leave the Gaza Strip and decision elsewhere if they had the opportunity,” said Trump. “I think they would be delighted,” he said. He added that he would like displaced Palestinians to receive Jordan and Egypt.
