"Palestinian Holocaust" is simply a frighteningly adequate title report an independent writer Agnes Piwarwho took on a hard task, which is to present the alleged second side of the medal. In this case, it is simply a silent, uncomfortable another side, or point of view of the Palestinians regarding the conflict that has lasted for years or to be more precise, lasting for decades the business of Palestine by Israel. The mainstream media (both western and Polish-speaking) mostly do not take the problem at all – there is only the right version of Israel. The another side is just bad Hamas. Murdered and starving civilians from the Gaza Strip are not worth mentioning... And if individual tried to do so, first of all, he would be accused of anti-Semitism (and then rather thoughtlessly, due to the fact that the Semites are besides Palestinians), second he would hear the allegation that he was ignoring Hamas' crimes. Before both “arguments”, Agnieszka Piwar's study defends, which does not change the fact that specified charges will surely be dropped. Nevertheless, since mainstream media devotes their precious time to caring for Israel, although here in independent media, let us give the voice of the suffering Palestinians.
At first, I must draw attention to the frightening paradox. The fact that the planet (I mean more powerful governments than citizens themselves) supports Israel seems apparent – after all, as you don't know what it is, it's about money.
Supporting Israel simply pays off, criticizing – in no case at all.
In contrast, the fact that, allegedly divided representatives of 2 Polish-speaking parties stand side by side to guarantee protection of the war criminal (in Poland, a country that knows the cruelty of wars, the taste of business and ghetto walls) is hard to accept. meantime Prime Minister Donald Tusk and president Andrzej Duda declared a protective umbrella to Benjamin Netanyahu in January 2025 during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. This decision
“They spit not only on Palestinians but besides on victims of erstwhile German concentration camps. It so happens that the Prime Minister of Israel prepared a hell comparable to that of the Nazis during planet War II. In this way Poland becomes a country that offers “protective parasol” to those liable for war crimes, placing political considerations above the global obligations and honor of the Polish state.”
Politicians in Poland, both “conservative” and “liberal” (councils, due to the fact that I think they are actually two wings of the same bird, and their consistent approach to this conflict is not the only example in support of my thesis) show clear pro-Israeli sympathy. The declaration of welcome with open arms of a man accused of bombing children's camps contrasts powerfully with attempts to ban a peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstration – let us remind that in 2023 the president of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, banned organise demonstrations under the flag of Palestine. Thankfully. The territory Court has lifted the ban, declaring it contrary to the constitutional right to assembly.
The Genesis of Conflict
Contrary to mainstream media coverage, the conflict in the mediate East did not begin on October 7, 2023 erstwhile Hamas attacked Israel. specified an approach is like deliberate manipulation, conducive to the explanation that absolutely everything can be done in “self-defense”. So besides brutally avenge yourself by killing defenseless civilians.
Meanwhile, the Hamas attack was a consequence to the long-term business ("since 1948". Israel killed more than 200 000 Palestinians; over 1 million were in Israeli prisons, 7 million exiled) and deficiency of respect for agreements by the Israeli side (although those of Oslo in 1993).
Let us point out, however, that the Palestinians themselves are divided – any proudly talk of Hamas, as the only way to save against the occupier, others show a critical position, throwing out that the organization did not consult the Palestinian society, completely unprepared for retaliation.
Omar Faris (chief of the Palestinian Social and Cultural Association in Poland) belongs to this first group, remaining other to killing civilians. He noted, however, that “the Israeli propaganda had exaggerated. Even Americans have already dropped the charges that Hamas killed children and raped women. That was not the case.’
The author herself emphasizes that she does not share the enthusiasm of armed resistance.
However, he besides believes that he has no right to instruct Palestinians in their quest for freedom without experiencing their pain and suffering.
“I was not driven out of the house. I'm not the 1 who got murdered. I am not the 1 who was taken distant from fundamental human rights, including the right to life."
At this point, however, we cannot neglect to ask ourselves whether the decision to attack Israel was right. The author has doubts, comparing this decision to the 1 about the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, and pointing to the alarming effect – "Gaza looks like Warsaw present after the uprising in 1944", and after all, "Zionists are crueler than all our erstwhile invaders, occupiers and oppressors taken together".
He besides wonders whether individual had provoked individual to give Israel a “pretext” to retaliation. This undeveloped explanation seems peculiarly interesting to me, since on October 7, 2023 I thought involuntaryly about the false flag operation. However, this remains in the realm of conjecture.
In closing the Hamas subject itself, it is worth noting that the current Israeli Army (IDF) consists of erstwhile paramilitary organizations "such as Irgun (Etzel), which utilized violent fighting methods, including bombings, as well as Lehi (Stern Gang), known for utmost action and assassinations".
Unwarranted arrests and torture
These are just any of the examples of Israel's brutality towards civilians. We should besides mention unjustified arrests and tortures, which are actually the main nonsubjective of these arrests. This is mentioned by Ahmed Frassini, coordinator of the European Political run against Ethical Cleans (EPAECC):
"Palestinian arrests have exceeded 1 million since 1967. After 7 October, according to Israel, about 21 000 Palestinians reside in their prisons.” There is no right to refuse to admit—the beating takes so long as the confession is forced.
Apart from beatings, there are besides common activities specified as: isolation of the prisoner without leaving him a seat or a place to sit; being in severe cold; deficiency of access to water and toilets, which forces the prisoners to urinate in clothes; bringing dogs and military troops to their cells; torture with electricity...
"Some prisoners reported collective rapes by 2 or more officers. any interrogations take place naked.
Prisoners were besides forced to pretend to be dogs or another humiliating behaviors.”
Let us besides not forget that children over the age of 10 are treated as adults.
Hunger as a weapon
The common weapon in Israel's hands against the Palestinians is... hunger.
The attacks on food-supply volunteers are intended to deter humanitarian organizations. It's just to starve an occupied nation:
"The Gaza Strip is the first place in more than a decade where the full civilian population has been classified as affected by the famine crisis (IPC/FAO March 2024)".
Words specified as “extermination” or “holokaust” in relation to what Israel does to Palestinians are not in any way excessive.
This is another cruel paradox – a nation that has experienced so many sufferings itself inflicts large suffering on another.
Meanwhile, the planet remains indifferent. And against what said Elon Musk, in mention to the tragedy of the Holocaust of the 20th century, that "if there were social media then, it would not be possible." Really?
Another Holocaust occurs in the 21st century in front of the full world, which is silent – either for convenience, for business, or for fear of the celebrated Israel scarer called “anti-Semitism”.
And yet it must be made clear that crime will stay a crime, no substance who the author is. Silence is not a neutral solution. Silence is permission.
"Today you no longer request to usage gas furnaces to destruct people. Just cut off access to food, clean water, medicines, electricity for dialysis patients and incubators for newborns – as the Israeli defence minister Yoav Gallant clearly and violently announced, “We will fight people without food, water and electricity” (Reuters, October 9, 2023). Let their parents watch their children starve, as he said. This is simply a state strategy. This is simply a dehumanization policy. This is modern genocide – not in chambers but in front of the full world” – stated a Palestinian doctor, Hussam Elhassan.
He adds that it is not a simple war, but a systematic and documented demolition of the nation through hunger, sickness, and deficiency of medical care.
"Doctors in Gaza are present the last line of opposition to this brutal policy – and their regular conflict for life is the purest act of humanity."
It is worth noting that despite the brutality and silence of the world, according to Omar Faris:
"The Zionist task failed to accomplish the most crucial goal – to make Palestinians forget Palestine. Eighty years of massacres, displacements, manipulation of consciousness, theft of land, persecution of language and symbols and suppression of opposition – all this was not adequate to eradicate Palestine from the Palestinian soul. all fresh generation that came into the planet after Nakba seems even more attached to the case and more conscious. It's like there's a memory of the earth in his bloodstream. (...) Zionism, which grew up on the story “with no people for the people without land”, realized besides late that the Palestinians not only inhabit their land—this land dwells in them.”
Love justice more than convenience
The words that touched me most in the full study were those of a five-year-old girl who asked her older sister, “Is the Israeli army bombing the moon and stars like us?”
The input of Abu Shammala, a Gazan journalist, said: “No, darling. The moon and stars are safe. You besides will be safe.”
Although, in the face of what I cited above, it would seem a tiny matter, I was moved by the simple dream of Palestinian children, which is simply a tiny pack of chips... "When I spoke to my small brother, he only said, "When you go back to Gaza, all I want is chips." Just chips. Not a toy, not an iPad – just a tiny packet of chips. So much war has done to the dreams of the child."
A Palestinian writer emphasizes that the indifference of the planet hurts almost as much as bombs.
The message that sends to us all, surviving (luckily!) in peace, I wanted to leave at the very end of this article. Let it be a point returning like a chorus in our heads, especially in our hearts:
“If you live in peace, do not let this area become a cage that separates you from another people’s harm. possibly you will never truly realize what it means to live under bombs, to sleep with your household in 1 room, to leave together in the event of death, not alone. possibly you will never feel the fear of accompanying the search for bread, knowing that a drone can kill you at any moment. And I pray you never experience it.
What can you do? You can choose to worry loudly. rise your voice erstwhile ours is silenced. Boycott the companies that fund our torturers. Protest. Support financially. Do not accept the translation that “it is besides complicated to take sides”. The fact is not complicated. Children are bombarded. Families are starving. The full nation is erased—and your silence is not neutral. ...
We don't request your sympathy. We request your courage. We request you to feel uncomfortable. We request you to love justice more than convenience. due to the fact that even the slightest motion – sharing the truth, taking a stand in conversation, refusing to normalize genocide – can shake the world.”
