There's a panic and a sale on the U.S. stock marketplace that results in a drop in the value of the major indexes. Indexes specified as Dow Jones, Nasdaq or S&P 500 were at a negative level, indicating an overall downward trend on the market. This movement is simply a reaction to the duties introduced last week by the Washington administration.
Exchanges burn red, Trump says everything's going as planned.
"Oil prices are falling, interest rates are falling (the slow national Reserve should lower interest rates!), food prices are falling, there is no inflation, and the long-used United States gain billions of dollars a week thanks to duties that have already been imposed," wrote the president of the United States on Monday on page X.
Trump is of the opinion that this is happening even though the largest of the "absorbent US country", i.e. China, has just increased its duties by 34 percent, and their marketplace is inactive breaking down (not true).
"For decades they have earned enough, utilizing good U.S.! Our erstwhile "leaders" are guilty of allowing this and many another things to happen to our country. Let AMERICA BE large AGAIN!" - Trump summed up.
What Trump writes about, however, does not make the US economy any better – most likely America will shortly enter the recession.
"The United States has a chance to do something that should be done TREMU DECADE. Don't be weak! Don't be stupid! Don't be panicky. (...) Be strong, courageous and patient, and the consequence will be large (USA-red.)! – Trump added in the next entry.
Importantly, on Monday, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that the European Union had proposed to the United States the complete abolition of duties on industrial goods.
– We're ready to negociate with the US. Indeed, we have offered "zero work for zero" for industrial goods, as we have successfully done with many another trading partners," said the president of the European Commission on Monday afternoon.
She added: "Europe is always ready for a good deal. That's why we keep him on the table. But we are besides prepared to respond with countermeasures and defend our interests.
