The U.S. decision is simply a typical act of economical coercion and hegemonic intimidation, and China is definitely dissatisfied and powerfully opposes it.

This was said by a spokesperson for the Chinese abroad Ministry Guo Jiakan, in consequence to a question of US-accelerated restrictions on advanced computational semiconductors to prevent redirection to China. The United States tightened Wednesday's restrictions on advanced computational semiconductors to prevent high-class chips being diverted to China, reported the U.S. Department of Commerce, as Reuters says.

As regards the intense imposition of trade and technological restrictions on China by Biden's administration, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce clearly expressed its position and the Chinese side made strict statements to the American side, said Guo.

The American side has overly extended the concept of national safety to politicize, arm and implement economical and technological issues, frequently utilizing sanctions. According to the Ombudsman, this seriously breached the legitimate rights and interests of companies in China and another countries, seriously undermined marketplace rules and global trade order, seriously disrupted the stableness of the global supply chain and damaged the common interests of global companies, including those in the US.

"No sanctions or repression will halt China's improvement and progress. No intimidation or coercion will weaken China's determination to accomplish independence," stressed Guo, noting that China will take decisive measures to defend the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies and individuals, as well as to defend national sovereignty, safety and improvement interests.
