The unit, flying the flag of Belize, did not endure serious damage, and the crew came out of the incidental unharmed – sailors most likely secured a tiny gap in the hull themselves. It is worth noting that NS PRIDE is an age-old unit built in 1988, which at the time of the incidental sailed without cargo.
